Hidden gem of a music venue in a beautiful setting. We were there to see The BoDeans and an opening set by Marques Morel and the entire show was amazing. Just about every show sells out quickly so go to their website and book early. A true treat of a place
Without a doubt shows here have the best energy and atmosphere of any venue between Red Rocks and Wolf Trap. It’s an incredible must do experience that belongs on every musician’s and music fan’s bucket lists. It’s the treasure of the fly-over zone.
Amazing venue with an amazing community of people and staff that creates a very welcoming atmosphere and unique experience with plenty of room to roam around the grounds! Oh, and there is music!!! I would give Codfish Hollow 10 stars but the review only allowed me to give five stars!
We visited on 5/13/23. This venue was awesome, a must see for sure! Lots of parking and you can walk or take a bus to the venue. We walked and it was easy. Multiple areas to buy alcohol, a little coffee and cupcake place, and two food trucks. The food was amazing at both of them, I got a Frito pie with pulled pork at one and some mango sticky rice at the other truck. So good!! There was also some small shop vendors there selling homemade boho jewelry which were really unique pieces. The barn itself was really cool, and the acoustics and lighting were great! There is a large grassy area outside to bring blankets and chairs if you don’t want to stand in the barn to watch the music. The music is piped out there and it sounded great. Fire pits lit at night, plenty of portable toilets.
*Cash only at all the vendors* They do have an ATM on site.
Absolutely one of the coolest, most unique music venues you'll ever visit.
Park in a pasture (free camping if you want), then either walk a quarter mile (half mile?) to the barn, or wait for the Codfish shuttle to give you a lift. The venue itself is a long barn shaped like an airplane hangar. There are food trucks, and a bar and local artists' work for sale underneath. You can sit on the hill outside and hear the music very well, but if you want to see the band you'll have to go inside.
The barn is not heated or cooled, so it can be very hot, or very cold, depending on the season.
Truly a unique and unforgettable concert location.
Had a great time with friends. The location is great. You do have to park about 1/4 mile away from the location and wait for the shuttle or just walk the 10 minutes, not bad either way. There is a bunch of fire pits to stay warm which was really nice. A bunch of picnic tables are spread throughout so plenty of seating. The lights during the show were very fun to watch. Food and drinks are a bit pricey but that's to be expected. All in all was a great experience.
I'm a huge fan of smaller venues and this place doesn't disappoint. Laid back vibe, so check ur attitude at the door and breathe that country air🙂 …
What a great experience. Listening to a band out in the country under the stars. Very natural feel. If you go bring your chairs or blankets to sit on. Need your vaccination card and driver's license to get in.
